September 07, 2019 – State of Turkish authorities terrorism:

Exactly 64 years ago, on September 6–7, 1955, Armenians and Greeks were organizedly killed, robbed and raped in Istanbul and Izmir. And the state calmly followed the event organized by it. A study of the mentioned events shows that the mass pogroms and robbery were well organized, and the Turkish authorities turned a blind eye to this, allowing the killers to clear Istanbul of representatives of national minorities – Greeks and Armenians.

Turkish rabble needed a reason to start their bloody business, and this occasion was created. In the courtyard of the Atatürk House-Museum in Thessaloniki, donated to the Turks by the Greek government, there was an explosion that damaged windows. That was enough. The Turkish state radio station reported that the Greeks detonated a bomb in Ataturk’s house. Istanbul Ekspres, published by one of the prime minister’s associates, managed to print a newspaper in the afternoon with a circulation of 300,000, which members of the Cyprus-Turkish Union, created and sponsored by the state, distributed among the people.

Everything went as planned. Houses, shops, and Armenians, Greeks and other national minorities were marked in advance with special colors in order to easily break and rob.

As a result of the atrocities of the Turks, 16 people were killed, of which three were found burnt in bags. Over 500 Christians were injured. A total of 4,214 houses, 1,004 enterprises, 73 churches, 26 schools, and other institutions were robbed.

To confirm that these massacres were organized by the Turkish state, as well as the Armenian Genocide of 1915, we present a publication from the Turkish site Atilim, which states that Oktay Engin, who organized the explosion in the courtyard of Ataturk’s house in Thessaloniki, was punished in Greece in the form of one years of imprisonment, after which he was released and moved to Turkey, where an unprecedented growth in his career began. First, he became the kaymakam of Cankay, one of the most important areas of Turkey, and then – the head of the political affairs department of the main police department. In 1971, Oktay became the head of the Security Directorate and worked in this post for 7 years. And in 1991 he was appointed governor of the province of Nevsehir.

The US Consul in Istanbul, Arthur Richard, in a message sent to the US Department of State, noted that he was an eyewitness that the Turkish police did nothing to prevent atrocities.

Several years after the pogroms of 1955, the former head of the Turkish special forces, Sabri Yirmibeshoglu, noted that September 6–7 was the work of the special forces, which was perfectly organized.

In the end, let us recall one statement of the former Minister of Defense of Turkey: “If the Armenians and Greeks remained in Turkey, would we have such a national state?”
