The Yarkushta Festival, known as the war dance in Armenia, will be held

The Yarkushta Festival will take place in Armenia in 2020.
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan made a statement at the Government session. Among the events expected from 2020, Prime Minister Pashinyan also mentioned the festival dedicated to Yarkushta, one of the Armenian traditional plays, dancing in the style of hand-shaking.
Known as war dance, Yarkuş is especially prevalent among Muş and Sasun Armenians.
The Yarkuşta Festival is planned to be organized regularly from 2020 onwards.
