“German atheists arrived in Armenia, and we decided to take them to the Tatev Monastery. They did not know Father Mikael, but I just went up to him and asked him to tell them a little about the monastery.
After the story, the Holy Father invited us to the liturgy. After the liturgy, he blessed everyone and made small gifts. On the way back, everybody was silent. The only thing that we heard from the Germans on the way back was the following: ‘We should probably read the Bible.’ They would be baptized in Germany.
Now, they always remember and pray for the Holy Father of the Tatev Monastery.”
