Most of the detainees were locked up in prisons, but their control was not strict. The criminals were later visited by Mustafa Fa Kemal, who later received the surname Ataturk. The detainees were once visited by Kyazim Karabekir.
Several criminals escaped due to poor prison conditions. Among them was Mehmet Reshid Bey, the governor of the famous Diyarbakir province of Diyarbakir.

If we want to give an idea of the scale and conditions of this crime, we need to talk not about five to ten, but about hundreds of thousands of criminals. It has already been revealed that the tragedy was actually planned based on the decisions of the Ittihad Central Committee. ”
