YREVAN, JULY 30, ARMENPRESS. Editor-in-chief of the Lebanese daily “Azdak” Shahan Kandaharian believes that the message sent by the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia to Tel Aviv is more than natural.
Shahan Kandaharian expressed such an opinion during a conversation with “Armenpress”.
“In arming Baku, Israel is well aware that its weapons are being used by the Azerbaijani aggressor against the Armenian population and civilian infrastructure. There is an international order that prohibits not only the use of weapons against civilians, but also the sale of weapons used for these purposes. And in this regard, the damage of Israeli ATS sent by Baku against the Armenian population is more than justified. But that’s the military-criminal side of the problem. “Politically, Turkey’s involvement in border operations and the relentless voice of the ‘one nation, two states’ resolution on pan-Arab media platforms have led to strong criticism that the same two countries are attacking,” he said. said Kandaharian.
According to him, there are numerous publications from Arab analysis and information centers condemning Ankara for having destabilized the region.
These axes deepened when the Israeli press proclaimed the imperative of the Baku-Tel Aviv military partnership, which in this case portrays the triangular Ankara-Tel Aviv-Baku strategic partnership in a pan-Arab sense. The accusation from Baku to Amman of supplying official arms to Yerevan was also important, to which the relevant Jordanian authorities responded adequately.
Under these conditions, it is not excluded that in various Arab environments, the messages condemning Ankara’s aggressive role move from the field of information linked to the Armenian factor to the state level. At the same time, reserve a certain negative role for Baku as well, ”said Shahan Kandaharian.
According to Armenian Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan, Israel must end its deadly deal with Azerbaijan. Mnatsakanyan said in response to questions from the Israeli Jerusalem Post, referring to the sale of arms by Israel to Azerbaijan.
“Selling weapons to Azerbaijan is deadly, because Azerbaijan never hesitates to use these weapons against civilian infrastructure, the civilian population.
We are pursuing this issue consistently, it will always be an integral part of our agenda both bilaterally and internationally.
“Israel must end its murderous deal with Azerbaijan,” Mnatsakanyan said.
