Early this morning I received news from Beirut that Turkish sponsored organizations had distributed aid to affected areas.
They are also particularly close to the districts of Ashrafieh with an Armenian population. TRT recently reported that a high-ranking Turkish-led delegation led by Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu will soon arrive in Beirut …
All this is not accidental, and the new trends of Ankara have been mentioned time and again, one of the focal points of which is Beirut.
Ankara wants to play an important role in Lebanon, under the conditions and at a time when the main representatives of the Sunni world are absent and far from developments in Lebanon.
