Azeri forces use banned cluster bombs against Armenians, western journalists confirm

YEREVAN, OCTOBER 6, ARMENPRESS. Azerbaijani forces are using banned cluster bombs on Armenians, Daily Mail reported citing western journalists in Artsakh who confirmed the use of the prohibitied munitions by the Azeris.

The Daily Telegraph in turn reported that unexploded bomblets from the cluster munitions are seen all over the streets of Stepanakert City, the capital of Artsakh that came under heavy bombardment and air strikes by the Azeri forces.

21 civilians were killed and more than 80 are wounded in Armenia and Artsakh amid the Azerbaijani bombardments, UAV attacks and artillery shelling that began on September 27.

Earlier on October 5 the Armenian Defense Ministry had also released photos of unexploded bomblets from Azeri cluster munitions in the streets of Stepanakert and other cities.
