Military expert Arthur Yeghiazaryan, a participant in Artsakh’s first liberation war, claims that Azerbaijan’s goal of achieving rapid success through the blitzkrieg was thwarted by the defense army.
“In the first days of the war, Azerbaijan, according to some sources, took 100 to 150,000 people to the front lines. Now he has serious losses, he is not in a position to organize serious attacks as in the early days. “But they can have reserve troops, think about weakening our vigilance, and then take drastic action again,” Yeghiazaryan told 24News.
The military expert is convinced that if enemy troops target the civilian population of Artsakh and use illegal weapons, official Stepanakert has the right to target Azerbaijani oil wells, including the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan pipeline.
