Moscow in Yerevan runs the risk of going too far: the Kremlin introduces NATO and the US into the Armenian actuality

Russian Charge d’Affaires in Armenia Alexei Sinegubov replaced Ambassador Kopyrkin as informal “Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Armenia” | sputnik / nersesyan
The habit, there is no other word for it, to instruct local assistants under the guise of “scientific discussions”, the Moscow diplomatic mission in Yerevan issued another “hit”. The rehash of the famous pre-election instructions of Ambassador Kopyrkin is now moving from the shy intonations of the Russian romance to the chased formation of the march. The command sounds distinctly – “your state is obliged”
It is about the duty of Armenians to share certain “value issues <…> confirming the spiritual and civilizational affinity” of Armenians, obviously, to the new Russians [Sinegubov, 1]. It is difficult to say exactly what the Charge d’Affaires of the Russian Federation in Armenia Alexei Sinegubov had in mind, but nothing but the unrestrained enrichment of the day before yesterday’s special forces and the canonization of Bolshevik paganism by dipping naked into an ice-hole is impossible to discern in the fogs of the northern country. The great humanistic, pro-European, and therefore pro-Armenian impulse of the 19th century, alas, in the past of Russia. Instead, there are new manifestations of hatred, specific to the post-Yeltsin era, towards everything Armenian.
Official encroachments on the Armenian alphabet unchanged since antiquity, the shameless imposition of the Russian language as the state language, the instigation of the Baku elite to destroy and Chalcedonization of the ancient Armenian Christian shrines on the temporarily occupied right bank of the Kura – in Artsakh and Khachen, as well as Nakhijevan, the pre-election flooding of Armenia by political technological and military intelligence and about the “last and decisive” battle in the course of the irregular war against Armenia.
We are not talking about the bloody hybrid proxy war unleashed with the participation of Moscow (the recognition of Shoigu, Klintsevich, Zatulin, Yevseyev, Kurginyan, Dugin and others) on the sacred land of Artsakh – the cradle of ancient Armenian civilization. We also omit the historical analogies between the Russian offensive against Armenia called “Lavrov’s plan” and the great blood of the beginning of the last century – only the present.
The present, alas, is just as unsightly. Neither the Armenian authorities – the parliament, the president, the prime minister, nor the public have ever talked about any threat to the republic’s sovereignty from the West. This, however, did not prevent the Moscow Embassy from carrying out the second public action to directly interfere in the internal affairs of the host country, in particular, in the holy of holies of the democratic system – the pre-election process. The anti-Western conference “Independence and Sovereignty: Threats and Challenges for Modern Armenia” was held, at which the senior diplomatic representative of Russia spoke. In light of this fact, the accusations of the United States and other Western countries of interfering in other people’s elections against the Kremlin do not look so implausible.
Particular bewilderment is caused by the maxim of the Moscow cartoon dafer in Yerevan about the possibility and obligation of the Armenian state to “closely interact” with Russia in the issue of protecting values and sovereignty from the encroachments of the West (sic!). About anything, but not about common values, should the representative of the official Moscow talk about. The talented and long-suffering Russian people – the godson of the Armenians, other peoples of Russia, beloved by the Armenians, through the many years of efforts of their leadership, found themselves on the other side of a deep civilizational rift. The Armenians are with him, we mean the leadership, not on the way. His fellow Yoldashi necrophile Aliev [Volodin, 2] and Mustafa Kemal Ataturk [Putin, 3] – both with hands up to the elbows in Armenian blood. His idols are the sworn enemies of the Armenian people Frunze, Budyonny and others like them.
What kind of civilizational proximity did the Charge d’Affaires of the Russian Federation venture to talk about? What is it, ignorance of the material or open disrespect for the Armenian people and their state? Rather, both. It is no coincidence that Bolat Imanbaev, another Armenian instructor on civilization issues, the ambassador of the country of a million yurts – Kazakhstan, joined the Russian instructor at the conference.
Old Man Lukashenko and Elbasy Nazarbayev – this is the group of Eurasians, among whom Moscow can talk a lot about values. The first, having visited the Aliyev exhibition of wax figures of killed Armenians in “tolerant” Baku, congratulated Yerevan on the huge human and territorial losses, and the partner of the second noted “a historic victory (sic!)” Over the Armenians at the summit of the CSTO defense union on December 2, 2020. Recall that the Duma delegation of the elected representatives of the Russian people later voted against the inclusion of the issue of the release of Armenian prisoners in the agenda of the spring session of PACE and, in addition, did not hesitate to mock about a technical failure.
With this ethical category of people, comrades Kopyrkin and Sinegubov, apparently, along the way. We shouldn’t forget Aliyev, they don’t roll on the road either. What is the name of the Eurasian collection point of post-Soviet rudiments is not important, but the softest thing that comes to mind is “historical nothingness”. Good luck. And bol chaslar, as the Turks say. Güle-güle, in a word.
