I can be proud of this achievement, because I was able to manage the case and at least rename the British Museum’s “Ancient Turkey” room “Anatolia and Urartu”.

The Behistun inscription

I can be proud of this achievement, because I was able to manage the case and at least rename the British Museum’s “Ancient Turkey” room “Anatolia and Urartu”.

Of course, I wish it was called Armenia or the Armenian Highlands, but that was the first step towards restoring justice.

I would first like to thank the late Mrs. Karine Ghazinyan, the Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to the United Kingdom, who supported my initiative, as well as the Minister of Culture and the Armenian and British historians who contributed to this work.

I also thank Gagik Gagik who helped me organize the collection of signatures and the 12,000 or more people who participated in the collection of signatures. Together we can achieve a lot.
