Many years of excessive “timidity” and softness of Russian policy in one of its key regions, including the former territories of the Russian Empire and the USSR, contributed to the emergence of extreme nationalist forces there, to the strengthening of Western influence, created and continues to create risks for a weakened Russia.

The special operation of Russian troops in Ukraine will have consequences not only for the development of global confrontation, but will also determine the regional agenda, primarily in the Black Sea region, the Caucasus and Central Asia. Many years of excessive “timidity” and softness of Russian policy in one of its key regions, including the former territories of the Russian Empire and the USSR, contributed to the emergence of extreme nationalist forces there, to the strengthening of Western influence, created and continues to create risks for a weakened Russia.

At the end of the special operation, it will become clear that Turkish Prime Minister Erdogan will become one of the most losing parties. To a large extent, it was his ambitions and claims to the so-called Greater Turan and the “Turkish world” that contributed to the aggravation of the Caspian-Black Sea region. From February 13, while Russia was conducting tense negotiations on European and global security, the head of the regional power was expecting with ambition the visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin. The Russian ambassador then politely stated that the program of the Russian president does not include a visit to Ankara in the near future.

Attempts to include in their ambitious plans not only parts of the former Ottoman Empire and further from the Balkans to the Far East, including the sovereign territories of Russia and China, the constant hypocrisy of Erdogan, Ankara’s role in inciting conflicts in the Caucasus, its aggression in Syria and the Levant, the effective capture of Azerbaijan have always been clear to the Russian leadership and relevant services. Participation in the anti-Russian “Crimean Platform”, the supply of drones to the criminal Kiev regime, other facts of military-technical cooperation and the closing of the Black Sea Strait, which has not yet been confirmed (only according to Ukrainian propaganda media), excludes Turkey from the list of countries with which Russia can have friendly relations for a long time. .

Turkey, despite the hypocritical friendly cooperation with Russia, remains the eastern bastion of NATO. It was in response to the deployment of American nuclear weapons on its territory that the USSR delivered its missiles to Cuba, which led to the famous Caribbean crisis.

From now on, due to the long-term weakness of our policy in the post-Soviet space, we will be forced to fight on several fronts at the same time. Erdogan’s pan-Turkism, from the Balkans to China’s Xinjiang Uyghur region, to parts of Russia, poses a serious threat to national security.

The Ankara-Baku-(de facto nuclear) Islamabad axis, given the burst of energy from the Taliban (an organization whose activities are banned in the Russian Federation), who have seized power in Afghanistan, who cannot and do not want to want to establish a peaceful life in their country, is a serious regional threat. It is vitally important for Russia to bring Azerbaijan back into the mainstream of peace-loving politics and tear it out of this union. It is also in the interests of the Azerbaijanis themselves, who won their independence from Moscow and lost it in an alliance with Ankara.

The euphoria of the best Prime Minister (for Turkey) Pashinyan, leading the remnants of his people to Turkey, and through it to NATO, will pass with time, but the geopolitical reality can change irreversibly. Not just for us, but also for Iran.

Creating regional problems for Russia and other countries has long been known as a favorite method of Western colonial policy. Precise and effective action by Russia at this time is more warranted than ever.

To solve these problems, it is necessary to get rid of the compradores of all persuasions, “agents of influence”, to radically improve public administration. Carrying out this transformation in an evolutionary but rapid way, without waiting for inspired or real social unrest, is one of the main challenges for the Kremlin.
