Turkish nationalist MP threatens to “erase Armenia from history and geography”

The chairman of Turkey’s parliamentary nationalist Grand Unity Party, Mustafa Destigi, a partner of the ruling alliance, threatens Armenia to “wipe it out of history and geography.”
“We tell the administration of Armenia to gather its wits. I remind you once again that the Turkish people are capable of erasing Armenia from history and geography, and that this is at the limit of our patience,” said the Turkish deputy.
Destiji is known for his many radical fascist statements and initiatives against the Armenian people. During the 44-day war, he openly offered to send troops to help Azerbaijan, and also demanded the deportation of about one hundred thousand Armenian labor migrants.
