The DNA results of the study of Hamshen Armenians have been published.
The results of the geneticists have shocked historians. Now we will have to rewrite the history of the Hamshen people.
Previously, historians believed that the Hamshen Armenians were the descendants of 12,000 warriors of Prince Amam Amatuni, who at the beginning of the 8th century moved to the area east of Trapezund (Trabzon) from the Artaz region of Vaspurakan province (this is about where the city of Maku is now located in the north of Iran).
However, DNA analyses of the Amshets have shown that 95% of them are descendants of the ancient tribe of Chaldeans, who inhabited the Black Sea coast between the modern cities of Samsun, Ordu, Giresun, Trabzon, Riza and Hopa, in the period between 20-8 centuries BC and between 16-13 centuries before our era was a part of the kingdom of Hayas.
The remaining 5% are really from other regions of the Armenian Highlands, especially from the regions of Erzerum, Karsa, Ani, Bayazet, Maku and the shores of Lake Urmia. But their total number among Amshen citizens does not exceed 5% of the total number.
The main mass of Amshen citizens – more than 95%, represent an isolated group that, in fact, for 3000-4000 years, lived in a closed society on the shore of the Black Sea and did not mix with anyone, preserving the primacy of its genetic material.
Turkish counterfeits are also completely rejected, in which it is claimed that Hamshen citizens are “descendants of Turks and Seljuks”.
DNA analyses have shown that among Hamshen citizens, the share of Turkish blood is not much, nor little, is 0% !!!! Just like that ! Exactly 0%!!!
These are pure-blooded Armenians, from the ancient tribe of Chald, who inhabited the Black Sea coast from Samson to Hop 3000-4000 years ago and over these millenniums have not mixed with anyone !!!

Thus, modern biologists, genetics, studying human chromosomes and DNA correct all the mistakes that historians have made and recreate the real ethnic history of our region!
