NEW PROVOCATION TARGETING ARMENIAN MONASTERY IN JERUSALEM
A new incident has added to the growing tensions in the Old City of Jerusalem. It is reported that an Israeli Jewish settler attempted to urinate in the courtyard of the Armenian St. James Monastery, but was stopped by Armenian security personnel.
This incident comes after the previous incidents in which six people were detained for allegedly spitting at the entrance of the monastery, banging on its doors, and throwing stones, and the attack in which a 9-year-old Armenian child was pepper-sprayed.
The recent series of attacks and provocations targeting the Armenian community in Jerusalem have once again brought the situation to the forefront.
